IMG Artists Welcomes Conductor Elias Grandy to its Roster for General Management
IMG Artists is delighted to welcome conductor Elias Grandy to its roster for general management. He will be represented by Artist Manager Pierig Stefan Escher from the company’s London office.
Elias Grandy's tenure as General Music Director in Heidelberg will end this summer and he now focuses on his international career which brings him to many first class orchestras in Europe, America and Japan.
Mr Escher said: “I am honored to work with a dynamic musician of deep insight who has built a name as conductor in the fields of opera as well as with symphonic repertoire within only a few years. Elias Grandy is ready for the next step in his career and I very much look forward to supporting and building on his many international projects.”
Maestro Grandy said: I am thrilled to begin my collaboration with Pierig Stefan Escher and his very experienced London team to join the IMG Artists roster. In my eight years as General Music Director I gained a lot of experience in opera and symphonic repertoire as well as leading a big house and expanding the audience in the city of Heidelberg. This chapter will end this summer and I am ready for new musical adventures. IMG is the perfect partner to support my artistic vision and I am very much looking forward to the coming years.
